Welcome To Addis Afros Basketball Club

Founded in 2008, we commit ourselves to supporting the sport of basketball in Ethiopia. So far we have been successful in

• Providing a club structure and a team for both boys and girls to benefit of the positive aspects of sport

• Raising funds and constructing a multi-purpose sport court for a community center in one of the poorest areas of Addis Ababa
• Donating basketball hoops for a secondary school in Addis Ababa
• Organising Ethiopia's first and so far only streetball tournaments, the „Addis Afros Streetjam“

We believe in positive change through sport. We believe that everybody, no matter age, religion, gender, race or economic background should have equal access to sport. Basketball is more than a game for us, its our passion.

The Addis Afros Basketball Club is not pursuing any profit. All donations and contributions are utilized only for achieving the club’s objective.
